You wouldn’t want to be the only person left staring at his meal on the flight.
Always make sure that your contact information that the airline has of you is correct. Should you lose anything, you want to make sure that the airline can contact you immediately. If you happen to lose your luggage and the airline then gets a hold of them, by some sort of miracle, then it would be even better if you were able to get a hold of your luggage again.

You wouldn’t want to rush to the airport to catch your flight just to know that you left your ticket back home.
