It contains over 3,000 acres of skiing terrain that also has a vertical drop close to 4,500 feet. There are about 84 ski runs in Snowmass that provides various challenges for the skier and snowboarder alike.

Located about 12 miles from Aspen, Snowmass has everything that a visiting skier or snowboarder would look for in a complete ski vacation. There are many lodging options as well as a variety of restaurants and shopping centers dotting the area to provide vacationers with their basic needs and more.

The Aspen Highlands completes the network of resorts that cover the Aspen ski paradise. This resort was built sometime in 1958 and provides access to one of the most exciting and challenging ski courses. There is an attractive mix of ski terrains that appeal to both beginner and advanced skiers alike. The Aspen Highlands covers about 790 acres that contain over 131 runs with a vertical drop that can reach a height of 3635 feet.
