There are a lot of things to do when in Toronto. Activities abound for those looking to experience the excitement and the adventure that only this city can provide. Toronto is one of those cities that always seem to be abuzz with excitement. And for every tourist who comes for a visit, the city is more than ready to offer you a memorable experience.

The first thing that most tourists do when in another country is to see the sights. Toronto offers a lot of scenic attractions that its visitors would surely like. There’s the CN Tower which is considered as the second highest free standing man-made structure in the world. This towering landmark in Toronto offers visitors a spectacular view of the city on a clear day.

Toronto also has excellent beaches that you can pay a visit to. They are located at the east end of the city where you can take a dip in the cool waters or play volleyball by the seashore. The beaches in Toronto usually also include paths where people may enjoying biking or rollerblading through the beach.

If you like to stroll around and check out the different sights and sounds of Toronto, there are many places that you can go to. There’s the Distillery District which has been rejuvenated and made into a pedestrian-only village filled with restaurants, art galleries and well as a different number of festival being hosted regularly.

If you are into theater and film, Toronto is a great place to visit. The city has dynamic theater scene that caters to a wide variety of tastes. There are the big and splashy productions that you can find in theaters located in King and Yonge Streets.

There are also theaters located in the Annex where you may be able to see smaller but more unique theater fare if you have grown tired of the usual stuff. It is in this area of Toronto that you may find smaller productions ranging from avant-garde, experimental, Canadian works, small budget musicals and even British murder mysteries.

Another place worth visiting in Toronto is Chinatown. Located at the center of Dundas and Spadina, you may be able to experience the sights and sounds Chinese style right in the center of Toronto. It is like visiting two different places at once. And if that is not enough, Toronto also has its own Little Italy and Portugal Village.

You can have a taste of the Mediterranean right in Toronto when you come by for a visit in this lovely area centered between College and Grace. You can come by one of the coffee shops that line up the village and enjoy time passing by while sipping your chosen brew. The atmosphere is at its finest during the World Cup of Soccer where the rivalries between the nations begin to heat up and can be felt all over the Village.
